A projection of the Mojave desert and the nuances of its arid zones. In May 2016 I participated in a residency at AZ West artist encampment in the California High Desert. Here I had a daily practice of filming the landscape whilst quietly observing the habitat. I recorded in the high desert in Joshua Tree and then traveled to the lowest elevation in Death Valley to the Badwater Basin. The resulting footage developed into the work to be shown.
